About Ocean City Seafood Company

It started in 2006 when local resident Paul Raymond saw the need for great seafood take out in traditional Jersey shore town of Ocean City. He opened a small kiosk in a local market, and Chef Paul began to satisfy the town's cravings for great seafood take out. Many of the locals and summer visitors came for dinner, and came back again and again. Behold, the need for great fresh seafood was fulfilled!

 

In 2008, Ocean City Seafood was recognized for serving great crab cakes with the distinguished "Best of Philly" and Best of Shore award. The following started, and we began to grow.

 

Fast forward to 2009, with the grand opening of the larger 9th and Central location rolled out on Easter weekend, with a sit down, take out, and delivery service, now Ocean City Seafood Company is a tradition for many on their trips to the shore town. Many come in just for the mouth watering soups, to "take home a quart." The cream of crab soup has become an Ocean City favorite. Others will call in advance to "hold a key lime pie for tonight with our name on it." Others will go twice in one week just for the Hot Seafood Caesar Salad, rapidly becoming the local favorite with all fresh local scallops, shrimp and crab all sautéed in a lemon wine butter sauce and poured over a tortilla bowl.

 

We are home to the best "buckets" around, with the traditional "Colossal seafood Bucket," that easily serves three people. We now offer fried shrimp buckets, and fried chicken buckets as well. Recently introduced, the Appetizer Bucket is a real crowd pleaser, complete with French Fries and coleslaw.

 

OCSC is centrally located in the heart of Ocean City, over bridge at 9th and Central. Many take advantage of free delivery service during the season after 4:30 pm and call in advance to place their orders. Delivery service has grown since 2009, and many customers call in regularly with repeat orders. If you choose to visit in person, free parking next door after 5:00 in the public lot.
